Japan Trip April 12 (Day 12): Hell Pools, Beppu, Onsen and Ferry

Linda: “Only those who have been through abode of the damned and lived to recite the experience, are deserving to be called veritable human beings.” This is the sales degree of elevation of the Hell Pools round I took this first blush of the morning. I (Linda) got up in season (ish) (at 9:30 am) and made it for the 2.5 twenty-fourth part of a day tour which was all done in Japanese. Fortunately, the one other individual on the tour, Yamamoto, a chemical engineer pupil at Kyoto Seminary of learning, spoke of the best English. He translated most of the spiel for me.

So, me (Linda) being the camera woman of ill fame and stamp otaku that I am, eagerly went around for the completed photo and ink stamps to add to my volume. The stamp collecting was a union effort between me and Yamamoto. We managed to find at least one for each erebus.

I was prepared for much traveller tackiness at the hells. It was a associated bag - some of that (demon characters, crocodiles, and extraneous animals and angle exhibits) but several equitable had lovely gardens and the pre-necessary souvenir shops.

Large Japanese Bronze Crab Statue - Seido Kani Okimono

Description Beautiful, large Japanese bronze display statue (okimono) of a crab depicted in motion with upraised pincers. Crabs are called kani in Japan where they are popular not only at mealtime but also as intriguing subjects for art and sculpture.
