I call up when I first started researching workman-like development in pl of child I found the information thin when it came to not speculative detail. I always intended to summarise each age class when both my kids had moved through them on the off fortuity it becomes useful to me one day!

Draining Summary
Preceding to 13 months old all my kids did with crayons was eat them, break short off them and throw them around.
At 13-14 months my kids made take counsel with one's self scribbles and rightful as described on Childrens Art the pulling was uncontrolled, repetitive and aimless, and more about a love of move than anything else.

Drawing Tips
In my idea it is best to give kids this age crayons to pull along with. Textas bring into being a hell of a dish on furniture, walls and floors and pencils are hazardous if poked in the eye or otherwise tripped over onto.
Kids this age are easily frantic by sorting and ordering and mixing and matching so it is most good to give them only one or two colours to tug with at a time if you in truth want them to try attracting.
For the same reason, draining paper should be attached to a scantling book or taped to an easel, plank or table so quibbling the paper around doesn't become the leading activity.
Coloring Summary
From about 16 months on my kids were proficient to paint with either their fingers or represent brushes on written instrument taped to an easel or lain on a tablet although Indi started later than Zane because I didn't get ready him with the same opportunity so juvenile!
