I muster movie posters, lithographs, and art prints connected to comic books and of the people science imagination shows.  The most high-priced part of this hobby isn’t the posters and prints themselves but the wont frames needed for the odd sizes of many of these posters.  If you go to a framing store and ask for a 27×40.5 aluminum put together with UV coated plexiglass and tart-free backing, you’ll apparently be quoted something in the vicinity of $200.  Parallel many such expenses, however, there are cheaper alternatives to be found on the web.

I discovered Hollywood Poster Frames on Ebay but have since ordered in a straight line from their website several seasons.  Sue at Hollywood Poster Frames has been very complaisant to me on the phone and more than nothing loath to create rule-size frames for my odd-sized posters for a just fee.  The aforementioned 27×40.5 build cost me $49.95 with at liberty shipping because I bought two frames at once.

While I do give credit to in supporting limited businesses whenever in posse, the hundreds of dollars I preserve when buying positive luxury items online has allowed me to raise a more impressive crowd than I would have been able to furnish before the days of the Internet.  Not only this, but many of my posters themselves have approach from Ebay, which allows you to find a thinly scattered movie poster in a few minutes rather than the old means of spending years trying through flea markets and collectible supplies.  Although the chase used to be a big part of the fun of collecting, the rest of finding items you veritably want makes up for the forfeiture of the offline chase.
