Painting the Car Tire Taiko Drums
Coloring car tires can be fun and scary; a somewhat cold pattern emerges instantly but if you have too much paint it can fall into the cracks and never draw near out. We tried brushes, pads and eventually brayers (rollers for printmaking).
We unwavering to make monster rubber Froot Loops for the tinge scheme by having everyone use the primeval colors (Red Blue Golden) and mixing subordinate colors to get a iris range. This truly made for some fancy textures and will direct the eye great from a remoteness or close up. The model next week is to lap these tires tightly with 3M sealing tape to create drums, so this is our only accident for decoration.
